Semaglutide injection
Semaglutide injection is used to treat type 2 diabetes and FDA approved for weightloss. It is used together with diet and exercise to help control your blood sugar. This medicine is also used to lower the risk of heart attack, stroke, or death in patients with type 2 diabetes and heart or blood vessel disease. Semaglutide is a glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist.
Semaglutide acts on the hypothalamus, which regulates our body temperature, mood, blood pressure (it is not a blood pressure medication), sleep, hunger/thirst and even sex drive. It slows down the motility of the gastrointestinal tract by keeping food in your stomach longer than usual.
Patients taking this medication at our practice often tell us they no longer crave their favorite unhealthy foods. They have an easier time selecting healthier options.

injections and follow up visits.

Tirzepatide
Tirzepatide has been shown to help lose weight in overweight patients. Phase 3 clinical trials are currently underway for weight loss in adults who are overweight, obese, or have weight-related health issues.

The price of treatment depends on the dose you are prescribed. Patients start off coming every week and can extend to every 4 weeks. Progression of dosing is dependent on individual treatment plans.

Visit + 4 high dose injection+B12 (12.5mg-15mg) $750
Recommended Oral Prescriptions
$150 for visit + cost of script for prescription
The price of prescription pill treatment depends on the frequency of your appointments and on the medication and dose you are prescribed. Patients start off coming every 2 weeks and can then extend to every 4 weeks. Prices for all medications are subject to change due to availability and price increases.

During the initial consultation, your provider assesses all information available laboratory studies, EKG, medical history and will determine if medication is recommended and which prescription would be appropriate, safe and effective for your body.

It is possible to regain the weight loss. It is important to utilize healthy eating habits, exercise and implement the skills learned during the program, to maintain the weight off. Consistency is the key. Focus on small changes that turn into big changes.

Providers are required by law to review a legible photo of a valid government-issued ID before they can prescribe medication.
Our partnering compounding pharmacies are also required to confirm your identity using a valid government-issued ID before they can fill or ship medication.
Please make sure you provide your photo ID in patient portal or in office.

We are an out-of-network provider. We can provide a super bill to assist you in obtaining reimbursement. We do accept HSA payments.
The required blood work and EKG will be performed by your own primary care physician and will be billed to your insurance. Your insurance may also cover additional appointments for nutritional counseling beyond the treatments included in our program.

Review of laboratory studies/EKG are needed for the initial evaluation and are needed prior to medications are prescribed.
